Continued falling attendance, accusations of cheating and demonstrations of poor conduct all reasons for announcement.
The NAIFC, and it’s previous names, has always been about the “best” in ice fishing…The best equipment, the best anglers, the best fisheries and the best competition. It was based on a set of rules and sportsmanship ideology that fit the times, and thru the years things ebbed and flowed, evolved and matured, rules were clarified, added, changed and rechanged. Other circuits came along, some stayed, some went, but the NAIFC model has been mimicked and copied dozens of times in the last 20 years.
It's TUESDAY, time to get your entry in!
Circuits that are partnering with the NAIFC by designating one of their events as an "NAIFC Qualifier" offer competitors the opportunity to pay a fee* to the National Championship (NC) in order to use their result to try and qualify for the NC in December.

I'll announce tomorrow night at the rules meeting if we are going 8/8 both days or 'gills one day and crappies the next...
Welcome back everyone to a new year of NAIFC competition. I'd encourage everyone to check out the rules for the 2023 qualifiers for some significant differences in how the NAIFC will conduct operations going forward, ...specifically, but not limited to...
Thank you everyone for a great season! From the anglers to the sponsors, from the hosts and volunteers, to everyone involved, a sincere thank you for making my first season as Director a success. We tried some new things, gained back several "Legacy Sponsors", signed up several new sponsors, gained a lot of confidence for the path forward and most importantly (to me anyway) developed new relationships with other circuits that I firmly believe is the future for ice fishing tournaments.
Registration is now open, entry closes March 12, 8:00PM.
